At a local Publix, Crissy managed to get two-thirds off her grocery bill and at CVS picked up $140 worth of goods for $5. Often, she spends only $10 a week on groceries and that's with 3 kids and a husband. Check out some of her techniques and her favorite coupon web sites, inside...

Crissy's incredible results don't come without preparation. She usually spends an hour week getting prepared for her shopping trip which takes her 3 to 4 hours and includes 3 to 7 local stores.

Like any good soldier, Crissy starts by gathering her ammunition. She does this by buying 2 copies of the Sunday double paper which renders 4 sets of coupons. Next she hits her favorite web sites which include: gottadeal.com and hotcouponworld.com

Crissy decided to show the news crew a sampling of what she does and they proceeded to hit CVS and a Publix, two of her favorite stores.

At Publix, Crissy made good use of the buy 1 get 1 free coupons. Most grocery stores will also let you buy just one item and get 50% off. If you can then pair a coupon with that you can get the item for free or next to nothing.

Crissy also explained that when a coupon reads "1 coupon per purchase" you are not actually limited to using it only once. For example she took 2 boxes of cereal that were buy 1 get 1 free for $3.79 a box. Crissy also had 2, $3 off coupons to go with each of the boxes of cereal. Crissy made over $2 on the cereal. At checkout Crissy's total was $15.38, she saved $36.22.

Next they went to CVS. Crissy says the best deals there are coupons and Extra Care Bucks. Extra Care Bucks are given on specially marked items. You receive the bucks at checkout and use them on a following purchase. Most people would simply use these Extra Care Bucks the next time they came to the store, or forget about them altogether. However, Crissy uses them the same visit by splitting up her purchase into separate transactions.

They arrived at the checkout counter where Crissy proceeded to split her checkout into 5 transactions. She took the Extra Care Bucks from each transaction and applied it to each following transaction. Apparently, CVS has no problem doing this for Crissy. All said and done, Crissy bought approximately $140 worth of merchandise for under $5. Crazy, huh?

If you enjoy receiving mysterious packages with unknown contents, (control freaks with anxiety disorders, this store may not be for you,) meet the "Something Store." The concept is simple. You give them $10. They give you something. Shipping is included, and the quality of the "somethings" varies wildly. (For example, one customer got a duct tape wallet, another one got a leather wallet from Fossil.) You can get an idea of what sort of something you may be in for by checking out the "something tracker."

The something could be anything, but they do have a list of somethings that they will not send. The list includes pornography, cable descramblers, drug test circumvention kits and "unsubstantiated cures, remedies or other items marketed as quick health fixes." What? No kinoki detox foot pads? Not only does Madonna charge upwards of $300 for the best seats on her tour, but now she wants a piece of the ticket scalpers' pie. Yup!

Ticket scalpers (or "brokers" as they like to be called) buy up the majority of concert tickets, leaving many die hard fans to turn to other venues to buy their tix. Now, Madonna is going into bed with the enemy!

Her Madgesty is the first artist to make a deal with StubHub, which is owned by eBay and lets people legally scalp (or "resell") their concert tickets. M will get a base fee PLUS a cut of all the ticket sales. So, in theory, the higher U pay for your ticket on StubHub, the more money she makes.

Why would Madonna (or anyone) wanna encourage ticket scalping/reselling???? Money isn't everything in life![/perez]

I had signed off a while ago, but I am W I D E awake now and lived to tell about it.
Foxxy is our Arabian-Paint mare. She is a booger. This time of year it is xtra tuff to get her out of pasture & to the barn for bed. She won't come when I call her unless it's rainy or too cold. So, I went trecking out about 200 yards from the barn to get her.

Halter in hand and walking along, it was pleasant enough. The annual lone-pair of Canadian Geese trumpeting me, the swallow-tails diving, the frogs singing in harmony, the fragrance of fresh Oregon breeze whistling by.
Whut-thuh? Sorry, this is not a fluff piece.

This is Oregon and it is only early spring. This means the pasture is still soaked and soggy in patches. I get about 2/3 out to catch the beast and S L A M - S I N K ! I hit a patch of good-ol Oregon quick-sludge.

Horses don't just run in a straight line then politely go along side you when you are stuck! They run and bold and charge and SPIN and KICK at eachother when they are all happy and excited. They could come straight at you, and sure, want to turn to avoid you, but then the horses on either side of them are excited and running full speed and turning too, so it becomes a cluster-muck of "which way the legs strike, which way the body slams, which way the jetting hooves land!"

Needless to say, I made it out of the muck un-scathed. I got some unexpected excersise and it was actually kina fun, just not at that moment :-)

HUGE Black Hole catapulted through Space

  colossal black hole has been spotted exiting its home galaxy, kicked out after a huge cosmic merger took place.

The event, seen for the first time, was announced last week.

When two colliding galaxies finally merge, it is thought that the black holes at their cores may fuse together too.

Astronomers have theorized that the resulting energy release could propel the new black hole from its parent galaxy out into space, but no one has found such an event.

"We have observed the pre-merger stages of black holes," said Stefanie Komossa of the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics, part of the team that made the new discovery. "But we haven't seen the actual merger event."

Komossa and her team have now detected the consequences of such a merger: a 100-million-solar mass black hole in the process of leaving its home galaxy.

"The consequence was that the merged black hole, the final product, the new black hole was expelled from the galaxy," Komossa said.

The team's results are detailed in the May 10 issue of the journal Astrophysical Journal Letters.

Black holes get a kick

Komossa explained that the theory behind these mergers follows from the observations that many galaxies have very massive black holes at their cores.

If two galaxies with these black holes collide, "then it's sort of inevitable that these two black holes will come very close to each other."

The black holes may not merge right away, though.

"One possibility is that for a long time they just orbit each other," like binary stars, Komossa told SPACE.com.

Eventually, the orbiting black holes might interact with a star or surrounding gas which could cause them to lose angular momentum.

"That would be a way to push them ever-closer towards each other," Komossa said.

Eventually, the black holes would fuse, and "in the final coalescence, or merger, of these two black holes, a giant burst of gravitational waves is emitted," she said. "Since these waves are generally emitted in one preferred direction, the black hole is then kicked in the other direction."

The "kick" the black hole receives is akin to the recoil of a rifle. It can propel the black hole to speeds of up to several thousand kilometers per second, according theoretical simulations.

The escaping black hole Komossa and her team observed was racing along at 5,900,000 mph (2,650 kilometers per second).

The pull of the galaxy's gravity is no match for these incredible speeds, and the black hole, "will inevitably go to intergalactic space," Komossa said.

In any business, the money has to come from somewhere. Whether it's from sales revenue or service charges or other transactions, the bitter business truth is that every dime in your pocket used to be in someone else's. It's not a bad thing. Just because you have money that used to be in someone else's possession doesn't mean that the former owner is now busting out the food stamps. Through however many transactions between however many parties, you received money, and they received either goods or services. And that's how an economy works.

On a less Macro scale, in the world of network and multi-level marketing this principle remains especially true and obvious. At the very core of your business, you make money through the sale of goods or services to someone. You yourself may never sell a thing and be living in a huge mansion, but odds are you're benefiting from the sale of something to someone. This system of making sales work for you is part of the appeal of MLM. Downlines. You benefit from the work of others. The more people you have in your downlines, the more profit you are making. Downlines make sales. You make money. End of story. But what's the name of the game?

Leads. The hottest commodity of MLM. If you've got 'em, you've got it. If not, you're going to be working really, really hard to pay for that huge mansion on door-to-door sales and Tupperware parties. If you can get downlines, you can get money. Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I like to look at it as banging your head against a wall and expecting to make money for it. Doesn't usually work too well. There is apparently quite the debate amongst bloggers as to whether this was originally said by Benjamin Franklin, or Einstein, or someone else. Either way, its true. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is just not very smart any way you slice it.

The same thing applies to any business. The businesses that break the mold and do something new succeed. Those that continue with the status quo eventually are shown the Chapter 11 door. Horse carriage makers used to think that the whole automobile fad was just a phase that would pass. I'm excited for this blog entry, and I hope you are too. In the last entry, I talked about five characteristics I've seen in my experience that have led people to real success in the network marketing industry. In my opinion, you cannot be successful without them. With them, however, you are in a strong position to achieve your aspirations in this industry.

YuwieAdds.com is a site i found that gets you more friends and page views. I've seen tons of blogs saying that referrals is the way to make money, and that's obvious. My name is Karen Falcon. Welcome to my network marketing blog. I'm from Toledo Oregon, and I've been involved in MLM for a total of years.
